  • Waxing is one of the best ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair. Waxing eliminates razor burns and greatly reduces the chances of ingrown hairs. Unlike shaving, waxing removes hair from the roots, not just from the skin’s surface. Over time, hair in waxed areas regrows slower, finer, and more sparse.

  • Yep! There is a measure of discomfort associated with body waxing, but because we use specialized techniques paired with the best quality wax your experience is comfortable and enjoyable. First-time waxes are usually the most sensitive, but the pain is significantly reduced by your next appointment and even more-so the more you wax. Anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen, and topical numbing creams can be used prior to your waxing appointment to help ease discomfort. Cold compresses after waxing calms the skin and helps reduce redness faster. It's a good idea to NOT wear tight fitting clothing the day of to about 24-48 hours after your waxing service.

  • We've often heard the grain of rice reference or the 1/4 inch thing, but the truth is, 3 WEEKS AFTER SHAVING...PERIOD!! 4 or more weeks is even better. If you are a shaver who's trying waxing for the first time, your hair should be nice and long (LONG, not longish). Shaved hairs can be very coarse and resistant, this is particularly true for the brazilian/bikini area. Growing the hair out long will ensure that the wax gets a nice firm grip on the hairs resulting in a cleaner, smoother wax. You should not shave in between wax appointments.

  • Most waxing should be done every 3-5 weeks. Brows-3-4 weeks. Brazilian/Bikini-4-5 weeks.

  • A bikini wax removes the hair JUST at the bikini line. An extended bikini removes hair slightly further in than a regular bikini and does NOT include the labia, scrotum, or penis shaft. This service can include the clean-up of the "cheeky" area just below the bikini line. A Brazilian wax removes ALL hair with the option of leaving a landing strip, triangle, or patch. You have the option to include the inside of the buttocks with your Brazilian wax.

  • We use a variety of waxes, hard and soft wax, to provide a custom waxing experience for every one of our clients.

  • Your skin can be slightly sensitive to the touch 24-48 hours after a brazilian wax, especially if it’s a first time or overdue wax. During that time it’s best to minimize any products or treatments on the area until after the skin is free of any sensitivity. Once your skin has calmed it is a good idea to use a dry brush, body scrub, or post-waxing serum in between waxes to keep your skin exfoliated and allow your hairs to regrow with less chances of becoming ingrown. During your visit we will discuss post wax dos and don'ts as well as aftercare product suggestions specific to your skincare needs.

  • It is the professional prefrence of our waxer that you do NOT book a brazilian wax appointment with us while on your period. Thank you!
